Formerly Association Management Quarterly, the magazine was re-launched in summer 2010 as Association Management Europe. Circulation consists of the Chief Executives and Association Secretaries of the top 4,000 trade and professional groups. This means that we go out to just about every top decision-maker in the UK and mainland Europe.
Suppliers of business services and venues are realising that associations represent a major market, not only in terms of their own requirements but also because they are in a unique position to influence the buying patterns of their members. Collective purchasing power means that a wide range of potential customers can be targeted by marketing to the chief executives that control these organisations.
This gives AM Europe a double market – firstly, the association itself (which can be as small as 1,000 employees or the size of a PLC with turnover in excess of £100 million) requiring services and facilities, as well as specialist requirements. Secondly, their membership – always on the lookout for added membership benefits from its association.
Associations also represent a major proportion of meetings, conferences, exhibitions and seminars, requiring all the related services and facilities.
The purchasing power of such a high quality readership offering a 'double market' has long been recognised in the US but is only now being fully identified in the UK and Europe.
AM Europe is published seasonally in Spring, Summer and Autumn each year.
